camping at Highcliff

We spent the weekend camping with the Green Bay gang at Highcliff state park on Lake Winnebago by Appleton. Did some hiking, bocci ball, kickball, eating, and relaxing by the fire. It was a good time all the way around!

Isaac proved to be a great little camper. I think he was surprised when he woke up Sat am and was STILL in the camper!

Galena

Went to Galena, IL with two girlfriends last weekend and had a grea time. Stayed at a B and B, rode the trolley, shopped and just enjoyed the time together. This was the sunrise as I left home Fri am--I took it as a good sign and the weather was beautiful!

More Galena

Welcome back

Haven't been on here for awhile. The weather has been so nice, I've been trying to soak up the vitamin D when not at work. This weekend I'm off to Galena, IL with two great friends from work so shall have some new pics for next time.

New tricks for an old dog!

I started guitar lessons today! I have always wanted to learn to play better and now's the time! Am starting with some basics since I taught myself and never got any of that. I'm excited!

Went to Mary Poppins on Sunday nite and it was AWESOME! I think it's my favorite of all the plays I've been to. Sorry, no pictures allowed but here's the cup I got.

92!!

Had the parents over for dinner last weekend for my Dad's 92nd birthday. What a milestone! He's very thin but still in good health.

Company

Lee and Isaac came for the weekend. This pretty much sums up the sweet and the not so sweet! Found out he loves beans!

I haven't figured out who likes the porch more, Sophie or myself. We're so much alike, it's scary!

Yippee!!

My very first completed knitting project. A few mistakes and not exactly great but I bet it well wash dishes!

Never take for granted the often-ignored miracle of turning on a faucet and safely drinking the water that flows out!

Green Bay trip

I went to Green Bay last weekend to attend a Beth Moore conference with Tara and my sister and niece. Saw this beautiful church in a little town and went around the block to get a picture. They had lots of pretty flowers planted all around it.

Me and Tara! What can I say! When I was young, I always wanted a bunch of boys, but God blessed me with 3 great daughters. It was fun raising Matt, but the more close and lasting friendship a mom has with her daughters is hard to beat. I'm so blessed that they all are willing to spend time with their old mom!

Isaac

Isaac was quite taken with Tessa. He LOVES Elmo and she definately was his hero when she found some videos for him!

Is he just plain cute or what. He's growing up so fast! We are blessed to have a perfect, healthy little boy in our family!

Sisters

I have been trying to learn to knit--not going so well! I started a new, hopfully better project last weekend and ended up ripping it out and now can't figure out how to restart. Since I won't see Barb for awhile, I guess I need to find someone local who can help me! My nest endeavor? Guital lessons that will start in 2 weeks. Have had one for years but never got past 1st base with it. I don't want to die someday saying, "I wish I would have tried it"!!
