Sat. we went to the wedding of Tim's cousin's youngest child. It's good to see the relatives once in awhile so glad the kids keep getting married!

This is what's left of our deck! We're putting on a screen porch so Tim has been hard at work ripping it down.

Now that I am no longer in my laudry room half of my life, washing for six people, it's a nice place. Why is the laundry room always the crappy one in the house when women spend sooo much time there? Just painted an old dresser and Barb made the wall hanging.

Remenber when?

Remember when this is how you bought cigarettes in the "olden days"? Found this one is a resturant in Myrtle Beach and hadn't seen one for years. They used to be 50 cents in the machines. Now I spose you slip in a 10 dollar bill!

Resist the "grass is greener" myth. Instead put your energy into making your life (marriage) better. Grass is greenest where you water it!

New baby!

This little guy (gal) was sitting by my front door this morning. The wrens build a next in the shrub next to the steps every year and it must've just flew the coop. The parent was sqawking at me but of course, I had to take a picture! Really wanted to stay home from work and watch the teaching process.

Garden

The garden is starting to fill in--now if we could just get some rain to keep it that way!

My latest development in my garden. I saw it on TV and one of the girls at work did it so I decided I could be a bit creative.

On the 5th, Lee's mom, Barb, and I drove my parents to Alexandria and met my sister there to take them to her house for a week. Barb and I stayed overnite and hit LOTS of girlie shops on Sat. This is the dinner of Mahi mahi, on a bed of coconut rice with a blah, blah, blah sauce we had for dinner that nite.

Don't die with dessert still in the fridge.

Sophie, guarding the clean laundry. She's all about fun and comfort. Must be why we get along so well!

Camping

We took our first camping trip last weekend with our new camper. Met Barb and John by Redwing at a campground. Was a good, relaxing time, except for the LOUD, drunk, partying neighbors who I finally asked (nicely) to go to bed at 2:30 am. Barb's kids came to visit Sat everning and brought Oliver, the dog, with. He is large but very mellow and affectionate.
